Impact of forest management on threatened epiphytic macrolichens: Evidence from a Mediterranean mixed oak forest (Italy)

Abstract: Forest management practices may heavily affect epiphytic cryptogams. This study was conceived in March 2016, as soon as we were informed about an authorized logging for timber within a Mediterranean mixed oak forest in Tuscany (central Italy), which threatened a large population of the forest macrolichen Lobaria pulmonaria (L.) Hoffm., composed of hundreds of fertile thalli. Lobaria pulmonaria is often used as an ecological indicator of high quality habitats hosting rare lichens, and in general, cryptogams worthy of conservation. The particularly broad and complex issue of the protection of disabled people in the Italian and English legal systems in this work is tackled by the comparative method, benefiting the research for the help of the categories of legislative and jurisprudential formants who play an apical role within their respective systems of sources of production of law. Getting married or entering into a partnership : the patrimonial issues of choice in french law

In French law, there are only two models of couples between which a choice is really possible to organize their patrimonial relationships: partnership or marriage. But, if the couple intends to organize a transfer of assets between companions both during the union and in case of death, it is definitely marriage that offers more possibilities than partnership. Often, young French couples, who do not wish to marry, either not at the begining of their relationship or not at all, have the idea that, if marriage organizes a legal protection of the couple, the partners have the possibility to provide conventionally equivalent protection. In fact, this idea is wrong.

Questo volume è stato interamente realizzato da studenti nell’ambito di un Progetto didattico, denominato Place – Private Law and Clinical Education, vincitore del bando “Messaggeri della Conoscenza”. Dopo una prima fase didattica che si è svolta a Palermo all’inizio del 2014, sono stati selezionati sei studenti per svolgere un periodo di tre mesi di studio e di pratica professionale in Brasile presso l’Unifor di Fortaleza.
